Ugh... Just be because a piece of software will not be updated again does not make it worthless. I am a big fan of ArcadeOS, use it in my cocktail cabinet, and have no plans on changing. Besides, I believe it is open source, so somebody could fix a bug if they needed to.

I tinkered around a bit with AdvanceMENU a while back, but decided I didn't like it. I cannot remember why at this time.

I also tried GameLauncher, and although I perfer the interface (with the TrueType fonts), the scrolling of the games was WAY too slow on my 600MHz Athlon. I can only imagine how slow it would be on my 233 MAME machine...

As for Vantage, I use it (in addition to MAME) in my cocktail cabinet because it supports screen flipping for all games it supports. MAME does not.
