Are you running Windows (including DOS box) or are you running pure DOS?
If you are running pure DOS, AdvancedMAME has worked for others including myself for odd resolution/odd vertical refresh rates such as the MK games, Irem games such as Moon Patrol and R-type, etc.
Yes, it is a bit overwhelming at first but if you "live with it for awhile" you will realize how powerful the program is.

: I'm running ArcadeOS with a 27" arcade monitor, a converted mortal kombat cabinet, which makes this all the more ironic/frustrating.
: I can't get any of the MK roms to run at a decent resolution.. they run at about half the size, centered.. I've tried all available resolutions in ArcadeOS, and it makes no difference whatsoever.
: Other games work fine, I can get them going at a good resolution, etc.
: The video card I am using is an ATI Rage II 8 meg.. Pentium 933, IWill Socket 370 mb, 128 mb of ram.
