ArcadeOS and console emulators

Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but I've been through all the ArcadeOS dos, and I still can't get this to work.

The only way I can get any roms to show up is to have the emulator in the same directory as the roms. I can't get romdirid to work at all (either @actual_path or using the ini file reference).

Has anyone had success with this?
