Yes you can just twist all the video grounds together and attach them to the fingerboard's single video-ground connection.

I would also suggest you use the MonArc device driver in your config.sys, it will set your Blade3D to display at the correct frequency before you even load ArcadeOS or Mame. You can find and download monarc.zip at http://www.mameworld.net/pc2jamma/

You don't *need* to use VSyncMame straight away in order to play all your games, just by using standard Mame with the Monarc utility (as well as specifying in the mame.cfg & arcadeos.cfg files that you're using an arcade monitor) you can play most games straight away.

Once you get it all working, then I would suggest playing around with AdvanceMame or VSyncMame in order to get the troublesome (usually hi-res) games working.

Even if you have everything connected up properly, remember that the screen settings may still have to be adjusted.. when I first got my monitor working it was strobing like mad and gave the impression something was wrong, but all it needed was a bit tweaking on the horizontal and vertical holds :D

A couple more sites of interest regarding PC2JAMMA interfaces are:

: I am almost certain that you need to twist the grounds together and hook them to video ground. If your monitor is older and uses an isolation transformer the earth ground might harm your video card or monitor.

: Please get a second opinion on this before going ahead with it...it has been a while since I put together a dos machine using an arcade monitor...
