ok, I am trying to connect to my arcade monitor via the JAMMA connector. Basically, I have separated the Red, Green, Blue, ground, red ground, blue ground, green ground, sync ground, h sync, and v sync. I know I where to connect the Red green and blue, and I twisted the syncs together, and soldered it to the composit sync pin. but what about all the grounds. Do I twist them all together and put it to the video ground. Or do I do a regular ground pin. I set it up as I saw on the PC2JAMMA site, but nothing comes on the screen but wiggly lines. Also, I think I heard the monitor make a really high pitch sound. I am deathly afraid of ruining my monitor, so I thought I would ask here before continuing. I am using a Trident Blade 3d. I replaced mame.exe with vsyncmame (renamed mame so it will be recognised). I set the monitor = 1 in the arcadeos.cfg. Anything I am missing? DO I need to set monitor = arcade in MAME itself? I replaced the RMS file in arcadeos with the one that comes with vsync. Any help is much apreciated.
