Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the gears were rubbing together. Specifically, the large one on the main shaft was rubbing the "middle" gear.

I loosened the gear from the main shaft (e-ring or screw, I cant remember) and slided the large gear about 1 millimeter down.

This helped quite a bit, but I still find the movement a little stiff. I was hoping for loose Tempest-like movement.

Any other thoughts on how to achieve this? (WD40 doesn't help much.)

: Hello All:

: I just got my second trackwheel control from Happ, and I've noticed that it's much harder to turn than the first. The first one moved quite freely, and this one seems to give some friction. I've tried bending (slightly) the metal part that holds the board away, but it didn't help. Anyone else have this problem?

: thanks in advance for any help
: Bob
