the graphics on the pc version wind up looking pretty good on a tv through an ati aiw128. the controls for the mouse are differnt, but not entirely unplayable when used in a cabinet .. in fact the game naturally uses the arrow keys to change clubs, so the joystick winds up doing it, sorta neat. you have to hit a mouse button before each swing which sorta sucks, otherwise its playable.
AFAIK, the roms werent released. I know mamedevs have them, but i doubt they will be released widely until its determined that there will be no threat to IT's business.

: I've spilt many a beer trying to hit long drives in Golden Tee '97 (keep forgetting to move the beer off the cp!)
: I even bought the Win95 PC port of Golden Tee - pretty good, has online vs. play, but graphics don't look so great compared to other PC golf games since they're like the arcade and not improved for a hi-res pc screen. Also, the control was modified for the mouse (use mouse button for backspin) and it has lame CD-ROM key disk protection.
