Looking at the DC VOOT faq, a circuit or complex wiring might make it possible to simulate a twinstick setup using a DC pad. I'm not sure since I have no experience building such a circuit or wiring diagram.
For example:
make the twinsticks
O-- O-- (Left stick L + Right stick L)
trigger D-Pad Left on the DC pad.
Is this possible with just wiring or is a circuit necessary?
But I have a question for those with real twinstick experience since it's been a few years since I played (the first) VO: what happens to your mech if you just push one of the sticks in a direction and leave the other stick idle? For ex. (from the faq):
** Twin Sticks Setup **
O-- O-- Both sticks left - walk leftwards
What happens if you just do:
O-- O
or
--O O
or
| O
O
or
| --O
O
etc...?
