My setup is a Voodoo 5 5500 AGP, with the Scan Converter, to the TV. I use AMAME (For the Speed enhancement). I just select certain res's, like for Stun runner I use something like 400x300 or I forget right now, but Others, like Pac-Man and such, display fine from the top to the bottom of my screen without any special settings.

The problem with all these MAMES, is you have to choose one. Vsyncmame, doesn't have the Pentium III speed enhancements of AMAME, etc.

Unless there is a frontend that will run one version of MAME for one game, that say needs the speed versus a different version for stretching and scanline stuff, etc. You could have all versions in the Dir, it would run what it needed for each different game.

Other than that, you will just have to try each one until you find one that works for you all around.

: I realize that I don't need VSync Mame if I'm using a scan converter. But, just like Advance Mame, doesn't it help your monitor to display games at a better resolution? People that use ArcadeOS for Arcade monitors still use Advance Mame to achieve the best possible picture. I thought this program did a similar thing. Well then, maybe I'm mistaken about the whole thing.
