Good question! I actually have 3 removable control panels on my cab (pics will be up in a week or so) and on one of the panels I have the following config...
Joy... 6 buttons... Joy... Trackball... Joy... 6 buttons... Joy
This works great for things like SmashTV and Robotron and also allows for either left or right handed joystick use (not planned, just a side benefit!)... I think there are still pics of my panels at the site below...
: I'm trying to decide the best configuration for users, buttons on the left or right of the joystick. I *plan* on putting the buttons to the right of both P1 and P2 Joysticks, but others are saying that it should be reversed? What did you do? Why? Any and all input is appreciated......
