I have both (horz and vert) and have not had any problems playing horz games on my vert monitor. Now, I have not tried to play many (I do have a horz cab 3 feet away from my vert cab : If a vertical mount won't work, is it possible to mount the monitor horizontally instead or is this too much work trying to rearrange mounts and everything else inside the cab? I haven't done anything like this but a lot of jamma cabs were made to swap the alignment. You might want to take a look at how it mounts and see how hard it would be.
