True, the Blade 3D is slow, this does'nt matter for 90% of the games however, all but the most intensive run 100% with a celeron at 450mhz. Even KOF 99 and Metal Slug 3 run 100%. I do like the ability to run interlaced as well, which the voodoo cannot do. That said, I *DO* however, have a voodoo3 2000 in my vertical cabinet, and it does the job nicely. I do not know why Tim had a problem with it. I like the voodoo3's a lot, but I have to play Gravitar!!

: Trident Blade3D performance is lightly to be a bottle neck for fast machines, I've discussed performance issues before on my website.

: VsyncMAME works fine with Voodoos (Banshee, Voodoo3, I am not sure if it supports Voodoo5500 yet, but all it needs to support 5 is just the detection code).
