I have a gateway destination 36" with an xrgb-2 box. Using a RGB cable, PS1/2 look great...without the RGB cable, there is a lot of flicker in the upscan. With the rgb cable, its almost unperceptable (if you are real close you can still see a slight flicker). Dreamcast of course looks perfect since it outputs vga natively.
Since the WG monitor (D9200?) that people have been talking about here supports both SVGA and 15khz, it would be perfect for both consoles (and no need for the xrgb-2). Only problem with it is its limited in size (25" or 27").
Its all a matter of perference...you can't go wrong with either.
