You either have to modify the code and recompile
it - if you do, please do not distribute it, that
would violate the wishes of the MAME-Dev.
Alternatively, you can just press left then right
on your joystick each time you start a game for
the first time.
Or, someone once suggested running a game, then copying
the config file for that game to all the games - not
sure how that works.
Or, you can run every game once in a mad bout of
start/OK/quit/next :)
