: some of the colors were shot when playing games. somtimes it was green sometimes blue. It varied with each game. the vertical and horizonal holds were very touchy. I spent most of my time setting these and well you touch the cabinet and the screen went awray. Last the brightness was dim, I had to crank it all the way up and that caused the image to have a horrable non black background. The setting I tried was 320x200 -waitinterlace was added to the command line too.

: This was the last thing I was doing with this cabinet. I did something no one else has done yet to make it look good. Basically its all done except for this problem. Any suggestions? All I want to do is get this thing finished so I can go and enjoy some brewskies with my friends and play some Galaga...
: p.s. I will set up a page when this is finished to show it off.

Thanx I hate to admit it that I forgot banshee was a chip from 3dfx. You have to excuse me. It has been sitting in the case for over a year now :) You have to admit there are a lot of video card garbage to remember. anyways some of you might want to know about what happend with two other cards I tried with it...

Trident 8900- This one did work, but the colors are off a little. (floor in dkong was pink not red) I had trouble centering it and the vertical hold was difficult to control on my mon.

Matrox g200- This is the one I will keep. The colors were crisp and the sync was as easy to adjust as on a tv set. The only thing I noticed now is when switching games (therefore video modes) the vertical hold has to be reset. This is easy though I just have to reach behind the case and give it a little twist. Also the games seemed to run a little faster, but what else could I expect going from 2 to 8 megs. They all run at full speed now and look perfect!

I have to tell ya the games look great on a real arcade monitor. You really can't tell it is run on a pc. My only problem now is getting enough sleep. I sat up playing games for hours and well it is time to talk to my good friend advil. I am so tired I just might. Give me a couple of days to get the webpage together thanx.
