Ok, I now have a PC with a Trident Blade 3D card and a SB16 running Win 98, a Japanese arcade cabinet with a 29" 15/25 res monitor, and a USB iPac. Help me connect it together. After experimenting with DosMAME here are the questions i have so far. First, what video modes do I need for optimal performance. Switch to arcade monitor mode I know, but what about stretch, tweak etc. i downloaded VsyncMAME as well. Is it just MAME with a few more options? Do I need the Blade 15 application for anything? Is it just to use windows on an arcade monitor or do I need it to play MAME as well? Exactly which arcade monitor mode is best for the Japanese cabs? Will the USB iPac work in pure DOS? What do about the speakers? Run them to a reciever (thats what I did with my other cab) or buy a car amplifier? Thats all I can think of. Sorry if these are stupid questions. I just don't want to fry my new monitor. Thanks!
