There are 20 discrete inputs. Enough for two joys and twelve buttons.

I highly doubt this would be possible. I don't think the buffer on the MITEs is very big. But, how often do you press all the keys at once?

I've got one open right now... looks pretty easy. The contacts are right under the buttons and clearly labeled.
