In note pad in the save as Dialog Box change save as type from "text document (*.txt)" to "All Files" then in the file name box type "ke72.cfg" without quotes of course and then you will have a file called ke72.cfg. If you just save it as xxx.cfg with out changing the type Notepad always seems to save the file as say ke72.cfg.txt. So in other words it believes your period before cfg is part of the file name and then adds the .txt to the end which makes the file unreadable to the encoder. This happens all the time when people use notepad, I believe it is a "feature" and part of Long File Name Support. If you all ready created the file in notepad and this happened you can simply open a DOS window and use the following command - REN folder where doc is\ke72.cfg.txt ke72.cfg that would get rid of the .txt extension and fix your problem also you could open it again in Notepad and choose save as and do what I said in the begining. Another workaround probably the best is use Edit. From command prompt type edit ke72.cfg Then Edit will open and you can type what you want and then press alt f s to save the file already named ke72.cfg

Good luck and Game ON!!!!
