Come on Agent. Your being a little too harsh on this one. I mean how many times did you post asking about video cards there at one time? By posting a message like this your sending out a bad vibe. A new person will feel their question is too silly and not even post or join in on the chats because they feel they will be shot down. If someone has a question even as simple I feel they should post it. If it's a easy one then us veterans of this site can help them out. That's why we're all here. I have been coming to this site for over 2 years now. I try to help or chat when ever I can. I want to encourage anyone that is new to participate as much as possible. That is the fun part of this hobby is finding new friends with the same shared interest. Sorry if this comes across rude, I don't mean to be. Just this message hit me abit on the negative side when I first read it.

: This site is a great site. It is filled with information on virtually every topic relating to building your own arcade controls. Recently, it seems that the same questions keep getting asked over and over again. Questions like, "Can you use two spinners in Mame?" or "How do you hook up arcade controls to a pc?" need not be asked time after time.

: Please people, take the time to READ a little and you'll find out more information then you'll ever find just by asking a question that's been asked a million times before. There are plenty of topics to be discussed and new ideas every day, so lets save this message board for posting about topics that bring something new to the table. If you post questions that have been asked time after time before, you're likely to be ignored. In other words, if you are a newbie, don't act like one.

----->Your wrong on this one Agent. Even the newbie simple questions are never ignored. I have seen several simple questions answered quickly, pointing the person to a refernce page or something.

: Here's the steps to finding the information you need. If after doing this, you still can't find what you need, then post your question to the message board:

: 1) Click on the links to the left and look for your information on those pages.
: 2) When in the message board, click on "Edit" on your browser. Then click "Find (on This Page)". Then type in a keyword like "joysticks" or "dreamcast".
: 3) Go to "Search" and search for your topic there. One of the best sources of information is the "Archived Messages".

: Just show some common courtesy and search out your topic before asking your question. You should use this rule before posting on any message board throughout the 'net. Thanks! Hope this helps.

: Agent Davis
