I see no problems at all with doing this as a pc monitor will most often go blank or in power save mode when arcadeos drops the fequency. It will not damage a PC monitor at all because you are actually using a lower frequency on the pc monitor. The reason an arcade monitor can be damaged is because you are trying to use a higher frequency than the monitor can handle.

: Is it possible to use the 'Arcade monitor' option in arcadeos on a PC monitor without damaging it?

: If so, could I then hot-swap my pc monitor VGA lead for my converted pc2jamma VGA lead without damaging the videocard?

: I know this may sound like a roundabout way of doing it but:

: I don't have any experience in editing'autoexec' of 'system' files, and

: I plan on using the computer for other PC-type things too.

: Answers greatly appreciated...

: Thanks,
: Alan.
