You can save the $19.00 on the power supply. Just tap into the +5VDC on an unused drive power cable in your PC. On mine it was the red and either of the black wires. Check and double-check polarity and voltage...the yellow and either black = +12VDC = fried interface..

Also I am using the interface with a rotary selector switch to select between a Happ trackball OR a spinner. Make sure and get a "BREAK BEFORE MAKE" type switch (I'll post a part # and vendor when I settle on one) to avoid overloading the power circuit to the encoder board(s).
