You can get a laminate cutting knife at a hardware store. My suggestion would be to only cut rough shapes with the knife, then after you attach the laminate to the cabinet use a router with a laminate trimming bit to go around the edges to make everything flush. It's actually pretty easy with the right tools, but without them it is close to impossible. If you don't have a router and re not going to use it for anything other than this project you can usually rent them pretty cheap at tool rental companies. Hope it helps,
