The shape is a little odd so it's hard to give specific dimensions. If you
are using a Happs trackball plate you could get away with a 5 3/4" by 5 3/4"
square hole. The trackball is held onto the plate with 4 bolts and the
plate is held onto the control panel with another 4 bolts. Attached is a
crude outline of the shape of hole I cut out of my CP. I placed the case
on my CP and traced around it for the cutout. I'd wait until you get the trackball...
: Has anyone here install a imperial trackball? What I am looking for is the dimensions of the unit, so I can precut my panel before the trackball arrives. This is my last weekend that I will have access to the tools, but my trackball hasn't arrived. I would like to know the mounting dimensions of bolt holes, and the hole for the actual ball. A printable actual size template is what I am looking for I guess. Please let me know if you can help. I could also use one for the oscar spinner, but I think the pix off his web site will make due.
