That does sound pretty cool. I don't know if it would work very well, but a few month's back I cut a 1/4" piece of lucite with a fine blade on a table saw. I would assume that the same would work for 3/4", but that's pretty thick. I'm not sure how good it would cut. You may need to cut it with a wet saw of some kind. And I don't know about you, but I don't see those every day. :-)
