Windows 95 on arcade monitor

I noticed further down that Mr. Salty mentioned that max resolution for an arcade monitor is 640x480, which is coincidentally the lowest resolution possible for Windows. (I never get 640x480, but I suspect that I have to dump my 1mb Cirrus Logic Video card.... ).

Has anyone successfully run Win 95 or equivalent on an Arcade Monitor? If so, how did you sync the video signal prior to the windows boot? I'm finding DOS to be a little limited for some of the things I want to do with my Cab, and Linux doesn't have a whizzy front end anywhere as nice as Brian's Arcadeos.
