I'm going to try an experiment right now actually. I seem to have a little time. This little project, if it's a success, will be freeware too. I got my original insight (hardware and chip firmware) from a guy's electronic project site so it's far from original anyway, but it's also just an accessory as opposed to a full independent product like a spinner itself, or a rotary joystick interface...so if I get anything working I'll just have all the info online for anyone who can build it for themselves, and possibly offer my services for those that can't program the chips or don't want to bother assembling things. This first little experiment tonight will be the make or break for my inspiration...I'm going to basically build a ps/2 mouse, and have it pre-set to keep clicking its button...when I plug the circuit in, if I don't see any clicking in windows...I'll feel lazy...if I see clicking...I'll follow this through until I have an axis splitting mouse sharing port swapping spinner ready interface.
