: I received my oscar and it looks and feels great. Thank you. I tried it with Araknoid just holding the plate in my hand, nothing mounted, and it didnt seem to move fluent. Sometimes it moved rather jittery. Im thinking there is a setting in either MAME32 or Windows to fix this, but my trackball and my regular mouse are working fine and I dont want to ruin their performance. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

: Thanks again,

How is the performance in Windows? Is it moving side-to-side okay as a cursor? If so, it may be the Analog Controls settings. The original Arkanoid control used gears, and the MAME settings need to adjusted (speed & sensitivity) to accomodate that. If the cursor in Windows is moving erratic as well, it sounds like the optical transistor & reciever board may be shifted slightly. Try to move the board closer or further from the encoder wheel by adjusting the 2 small screws holding the board to the stantion. Be sure to let me know if this doesn't correct it.
