NEED HELP: Screen bezel Art displayed on screen in MAME?

I was just thinking. As a lot of you know, I employ a 25" screen in my cab, which is a fine height for the Horizontal gams without having to physically rotate the monitor.

To add to the feel and look, and make use of the blank space on the left and right of the game screen, say, for Ms Pac, the art that was printed on the monitor bezel would be perfect if it could be displayed there.

The Playstation Ms Pac Man Maze Madness does that in classic emulation mode, which is what made me think of it.

They could be overlayed like templates, in say a TMPL dir, with names like pacman.jpg or something like that.

If it already exists, could someone please tell me how to do it?
