Just because video is integrated on the motherboard doesn't mean it's crappy. Note that this particular bookpc is using a Blade3D - which is a real VGA subsystem with its own memory, sitting on the AGP bus (yes, you can build AGP on the motherboard, it doesn't require a slot and a card). This is much better than (for example) the SIS530 integrated motherboard video which shares system memory and makes the computer slow and unstable.
I think that particular bookPC would be fine for emulation. I'd take it out of the case though, and mount the motherboard by itself in the cabinet for better airflow.
