Yeah, if hacking two dc pads, use 3rd party brand that has the shoulder buttons on the front as well (making them digital).

: The Madcatz is my favorite because there are easy solder points on the backside (so you don't even touch the real button traces). And the Madcatz also has digital versions of the analog sholder buttons (6 buttons in all on front of joypad).

: Again, your only concern should be the PC enocder(it will need to have ground based switches for this to work). I've never tried hooking up a keyboard encoder, so I don't know how it works.
