If you only do the lock out trick on the UP and DOWN motions and leave LEFT and RIGHT alone, it's not as bad. You have to precisely go UP or DOWN, but your diagonals are still registered as LEFT and RIGHT. A true 4-way is still a little better.

: Yeah, you got the directions right. So if you said it sucks... I guess you need the adjustable Happs Supers with 4-way/8-way plates.
