The only thing stopping me from buying an Oscar is the mounting plate was much too big.

: Actually, the size of the mounting plate was based on my (unreleased) push/pull design. The plate covers the switches and such. If you are interested in a HotRod version, I have already built a custom OSCAR for a HotRod owner that did not include the mounting plate. I shipped it mounted on a little piece of 3/4" particle board and left it so it could be easily disassmbled and installed in a HotRod.
