Has anyone used emus on a progressive scan tv? Does it look much clearer like a PC monitor, and does it support more resolutions? Im looking to use one for a cabinet that has a 29" screen in it. Im researching around for a good 27" tv. Ive seen a Samsung 27" (Model: TSK-2790F) that has the feature Im looking for. and it says "The built-in progressive-scan line doubling system makes any type of signal (analog or digital) look better by upconverting it to 480p"
Best Buy currently sells this tv, but I visited there store about a year ago and I saw a progressive scan tv with a port on the front of it to connect your pc monitor to. the picture was awesome and looked like a watercolor painting. I don't remember what brand it was. and the clerk told me it was suitable for using computer with it.
I don't know of that many mid sized tvs around the 27" to 32" that support the 480p feature. Im open to suggestions and want to know of any other tvs that support progressive scan. thanks
