: No offense, but this Brian guy doesn't sound to swift. His page details how to hookup the Dreamcast video by uing a SCART cable and using an LM1881 chip to strip out the composite sync. Maybe he has this trick confused with how to do it on a playstation1/2. The dreamcast already has Vert and Hor sync outputs on the AV port.

: A much easier way to hookup your DC to an acrade monitor is to simply buy a VGA box, and cut the 31Khz wire. Most VGA boxes already have the 15Khz wire grounded. Then just use a VGA extension cable, hack one end to connect the R/G/B/H/V directly to your monitor. No soldering required :-)
