I've heard so many bad reports about the AMD supported motherboards, I decided to go the Intel road. I purchased an ABit BX-133 (I love you 440BX!!!) and a P3 933MHz (the 1GHz was just a tad bit too high when I purchased my CPU) and I haven't had a single problem and I've been very impressed by it's performance. I think AMD processors are great, but the manufacturers who create the chipsets need to put a little more effort into it. Granted VIA Technologies has released a revision of their KT133 chipset (known as the KT133A) to fix several of it's flaws, but apparently it still suffers from the same bus bandwith problems. But the processors equal seem to be about equal in performance (really depends on the situation). Stability is an important factor for me, though, and the 440BX chipset has treated me good in the past.
