After looking at LCD screens, this seems that it would be very expensive.

: I'm always dishing out my ideas to all of you here on this board and my latest one is probably the best one I've had yet (whether you guys think so or not, hehe).

: As mentioned in the below post, ArcadeOS now supports the use of an LCD screen connected to a COM port that can display logos and such. Well....

: How about making an LCD screen into a changing marquee? That's right, every game you play could have its own marquee displayed on your cab as if your cab were the real thing! I know this could be done! One thing I realize is that there probably arent any LCD screens the shape of a marquee but there are some that are somewhat shore and wide, like those used on those portable DVD players. A cab built from scratch could incorporate one of these in the middle and put a speaker on each side, like from a missile command cabinet. My cab is a former MC cab and the orignal marquee was removed and a mini marquee was put in the middle of the two speakers. This is the style you could make it becaus this size marquee is pretty close to those LCD screens I've seen. This would be expensive, I know but I think it's a great idea.
