What do you know about wireless pointing devices?

There arae a couple of wireless pointing devices now on the market - they aparrenlty move your mouse cursor by pointing at the screen.

I am considering getting one to hack into a psuedo-light gun for use w/ mame and want to know if anyone has experience with these pointers, specifically, accuracy, response time, control, etc.
