I have been to several auctions - the last two each had one Mame machine there for sale. They were a best in fair condition. I believe they had PII 200Mhz or so, and arcade monitors. Their CP's were just ok - nothing fancy at all.

One was about $1200, the other I think went over $1400.

: I am trying to figure out what a Mame cabinet is worth?
: And is there any market in making them for people?
: Can MAME cabinets be sold at arcade auctions?
: It really doesn't cost that much to convert an old cabinet if you go in with a clear plan of what you want to do.
: I would like to make at least one more Mame cabinet for myself. (Vertical).
: Plus there are a few dedicated machines I would like to buy. (Stun Runner sitdown, Some kind of gun game, Some kind of full cockpit driving or flying game, some kind of cocktail, and maybe a NEOGEO).
: I was thinking I could possibly finance these games, (and my Zelda cocktail), by building Mame cabinets for others.
: Any suggestions?
