Well, I'm not sure how to determine if the monitor will do both. I'm pretty sure there is a little board on it which inverts the video, but I dont know that much about it. The cab is a VS. GOLF machine from like 1984. Is the plug you are talking about the edge card down by the pcb? there is one on top and one on bottom and both have connectors on them. However, I got this golf cabinet as well in the deal. I still dont know exactly how to make up the cable from the 15 pin vga and jack it into the monitor input - is it just that you hook up red, green, blue, and sync ? how do I know which wires are which ???

: I have a Super Mario cab. I will be Mame'ing it soon. One thing to check is this....make sure the monitor can do both standard and inverse video. The older EZ's (Donkey Kong) only did inverse video. The newer EZ's have a plug and 2 rows of pins...one for standard video and one for inverse.
