I stole the fixed frequency monitor idea from PacFan as I bought the same one he did. I modelled my cocktail cabinet design after his, and I'm glad I did.
It's probably workth noting that I only play vertical classics in my cabinet, so those are the only games I have experience with. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that this tube MIGHT not be good for modern horizontal games, but I have no way of testing that because of my video card. I suspect that with a decent card (and AdvanceMAME), I could send a signal to the tube that it could display.
But that is only speculation at this point.
