I admit it is nice getting good reviews from other byoac'ers...I get really psyched when I get an email complimenting me on one of my cabs...
But what is REALLY cool is when I put someone in front of a machine that knows nothing about emulation. (There are still people that aren't on the net)
You want to see scheer amazement....tell someone like this that you have "an arcade machine" and have it already running a classic game like Ms Pac.
The watch their eyes when you exit out and start Frogger.
Then let them scroll through the gamelist. Chins drop.
The exit the arcade stuff and fire up the Mp3 jukebox and let them poke around in that HUGE list of songs...
maybe next time I will start by showing the new person my "cabinet that will play Atari 2600 games...then step up to NES...SNES...etc
But honestly, nothing beats a sincere "Bravo" from the regulars on this message board. (With the possible exception of the large breasted blonde that jumped up and down clapping every time she fired up a new classic................could happen)
