Voodoo3 S-video output is awesome! Why?!

I thought I'd see how good the video quality is with the S-video output on a Voodoo3 card to a television. While the quality isn't quite as good as using an arcade monitor, the compatibility is amazing! It works *so* much better than using AdvanceMAME on a standard-res arcade monitor.

Advantages:
• No scrambled picture during boot.
• No problems booting into Windows.
• Vertical games all fit perfectly on screen with no
missing lines of resolution.
• Oversized games like SmashTV and Discs of Tron with
backdrop art fit the screen perfectly.
• Resolutions up to 800 x 600 supported.
• Vector games really look nice at 800 x 600.
• ArcadeOS's 640 x 480 mode much more ledgible with
no flickering.
• I'm sure I'm forgetting something else bitchin'.

Disadvantages:
• Picture quality isn't as sharp as RGB.

So, what I'm wondering is... would someone talented enough to program video registers and whatnot, be able to do a bit of hackery on the Voodoo3 BIOS and force it to route the signal that it normally puts out on the S-video connector over to the VGA connector for use on an arcade monitor? That would eliminate the picture quality issue and it would be the perfect video card. Good lord! I'm getting a woody just thinking about it. ;-)

I've got extremely detailed documentation on the Voodoo3 card with every register on the card explained in detail, if any hacker/programmer types want to look into it.
