: Is give people the option of the stuff, with the
: disclaimer that it may not be as durable... HOWEVER -
: who cares? It's cheap - if it tears, I'll go buy
: replacements myself and recover it. Heck, maybe
: I'll do a cover every month just for fun... :)

: : : In the latest project on the news page, Brian didn't use Lexan, Mylar, etc. He used.... contact paper?! From the photos, it looks wicked-cool! I think I'll cover TwistyGrips with the same stuff, but does anyone know how it holds up to wear? It appears to SHINE; what does contact paper *really* look like? Does it actually feel like paper or is it waxy, or what? And finally, where do you get this stuff?

: : You can find contact paper at most department stores and home building centers. It is usually used for relining shelves and such. I have never tried testing it for durability. It feels like slick vinyl to me.

........
I used the blue marble contact paper from Home
Depot. It was only $5. I put that on the top and front of the control panel and then I put .094 thick plexiglass on top of that to hold up to the wear and tear of playing etc.. That's why it is so shiny on the top is from the plexiglass. The actual contact paper is pretty shiny too, but not that much.
