Ive made molds for a fe SMALL parts. Let me tell you... its a lot of work, and very costly
:( Best work with wood. Its cheaper and easier.
Although, I have seen a few nice looking clear-colored joysticks. Take them apart and attach the handles to a standard happ joystick.

Making a mold for plastic is probably too expensive if you're only making one or a few pieces. I have seen custom control panels using carved wood handles for Star Wars yoke controls - Xiaou's frankenstein panel.
: Maybe those cheap PC joysticks, like those 2-button models, could be adapted as TRON sticks.
