I went out and bought a plain, generic DB15 A/B switchbox for $9. I wanted to see if this could be used for hooking up two monitor. I share my main computer with my Mame machine so swapping cables becomes very annoying after a while. I hooked up a Male to Male (that's sick) cable from my video card to the IO port on the back of the switchbox. I then hooked each monitor to the A and B connectors and tried it out. The results are that it worked great. There are no changes in either monitor whatsoever. I absolutely cannot tell its hooked up to a switchbox. Not bad for $9. I've heard that signal is lost and these aren't worth it but not the case hee.
