...that although the know they are selling at Arcadesticks.com is probably very nice quality and decent size for a spinner ( like I said it looks EXACTLY like the one I bought locally ) I don't think it is an ACTUAL Tempest knob off of an arcade machine ( or replacement ) nor does the site claim that it is.
: ...as for Arcadesticks.com; I've bought some leafswitch WICO joysticks and a control panel overlay from them and had no problems whatsoever. I have read of people being angry because of slow shipments and Arcadesticks not returning e-mails promptly but this was when Arcadesticks.com was supposedly moving their business. As a rule you've got to be a bit cautious about a business that doesn't post a street address or phone number on their website.
: My main complaint about Arcadesticks.com is that although they have a fine selection of hard to find parts their prices are a RIPOFF. The SAME 'Tempest' knob pictured on their site was purchased by myself at a local electronics distributor for $7.00.
: : : Does anyone have an original Tempest spinner knob to sell?
: : : I need one for my MAME cabinet.
: : Go to http://www.arcadesticks.com/new_page_5.htm they have one but for 14 bucks! Later
