I recently bought a new chassis for my 25" std res monitor. Since it came with a regular 2-prong plug on it, I figured it was meant to go directly into the wall socket. WRONG! I now have a new dead chassis board.
After doing some follow-up research, I have found that the general consensus is that an iso should be used even though it might not be required.
I now have a new 25" tube on the way, and you can bet that I will use an iso whether it needs it or not.
Just one man's opinion.....
: If you bought a new monitor I doubt you need it. I would call WG tech to be sure. If it doesn't need it you are better off without it...it can cause the picture to be lower quality.
