Working on .NMS files, and a question..

I'm working on .NMS files for Nesticle and KGen98, since I haven't seen any and all my searching has yielded zippy.

My question is vertical hold on games.. I have an arcade monitor, and some of the games scroll vertically really fast. Checking the game info and changing the resolution appropriately usually results in either a) a slow roll or b) a steady picture at first, but then will roll slightly during the game. Any suggestions out there?
