I got my copy from my job. So, really, it's not mine at all.
There is a limited feature version called Photoshop LE. It's more than adequate for most jobs.
If you're only going to use it for one or two jobs (like a couple of marquees or joystick panels), you could go to a copyshop that rents you computer time and do them there.
Or, you could sketch them out and make someone else do them for you. . .
