I designed and printed my own marquee, and having full access to the latest in hitech digital printers ;) have found some technical specs concerning ink and material for anyone interested
in making a super marquee. These might not make any sense to the average joe. . erm. .sorry Joe :> but here are some specs you could probably take to any graphics shop(Kinko's maybe, copy Cat Printing. . I am sure there are many others you could easily find.

*3M Clear Imaging media 8501CP
*4 mil polyester without adhesive
*3M Translucent film with preasure sensitive adhesive
*HP Designjet CP dye ink

Hope this helps anyone wanting a "cut above the rest" marquee.
